Birds of Prey

Duration: 1 Day Training fee: £135 What's included: entrance fee, refreshments, tutorial, lunch, all day shoot with 1:1 help and a welcome pack Outline: A fantastic opportunity awaits. Just inches away both static and in flight you'll be able to shoot amazing images of Falcons, Hawks, Owls, Eagles and Vultures at the superb School of Falconry Centre at Old Warden, nr. Biggleswade in Beds. With many years of experience the Falconry Centre have carefully bred, nurtured and cared for hundreds of beautiful birds and housed them in a beautiful woodland setting which is as close as possible to their own natural surroundings. It is considered to be one of the finest collections in the country. Some of their species are rare or endangered. We will show you how to photograph the birds both in their static location and also in free-flying sessions (untethered). This we'll carefully setup for you and give you several opportunities to capture them in flight. Full tuition is given throughout the day including advice on lenses, shooting modes, white balance and special emphasis on how to capture fast flying sequences. Additional to this event we have made arrangements for you to be able to handle and fly some of the birds in the magnificent grounds at the centre. An event not to be missed.
