Outline:
Whatever your aspirations, big or small this hands on event will
show you how to professionally set up studio lighting equipment or
your own clip on flash to create style, mood, character to flatter
your sitter. It will show you the correct lighting for full face
or profiles. How to light one or more persons, full length or
head and shoulders, how to quickly set up a ‘studio’ in a small
room or other very tight space. It will also show you how you
can take great looking shots with one flash and/or combine it
with daylight for stunning effects.
You'll quickly learn where to position the guns, set the exposure,
determine the lighting ratio and become familiar with using one or
more strobes.
You also be shown how to create a shadowless, beautiful white
background like you'll find in a 'Venture' studio so you can
create your own contemporary family portraits in your living
room or studio.
You'll also be shown how to make creative use of flash accessories
as appropriate such as snoots, grids and gels to add interest and
impact to all your images.
You'll also see how to configure more challenging lighting set up
for small product photography for illustrating items on a web site.
All equipment is provided along with backgrounds, reflectors and
accessories for you to use on the day.
Suitable for all who wish to develop their lighting skills.
