Outline:
Photo editing is as important as taking the picture and helps you
get the very best out of all your images. You'll be amazed at what
is possible through editing.
Exposure, colour, sharpness, contrast, image quality, general
appearance and removing distracting elements are perfect situations
for editing.
This workshop will show you several techniques that can really make
a difference to your pictures and every step of the way will be
shown so you can follow and copy the methods yourself. You have the
option to bring along your laptop but it's not a necessity.
You will quickly see the benefits of using layers, learn how to make
precise selections using a variety of tools, crop an image to a
specific print, frame size or resolution, adjust exposure levels or
curves, correct white balance and use saturation techniques to
brighten colours or create effects. You'll also see how to handle RAW
files with ease and see for yourself the advantage they bring to editing.
Whether you're new to editing, just need a bit of help or a quick jolt
of inspiration, this course will do it all.
Ideal for abilities and those who want to improve their editing skills
or take it to a higher level.
