'Do not simply shoot what you see - pictures need to be made'
For many of us it appears that good composition is in the eye of the beholder and cannot
be learnt or improved upon. But if you study hundreds of images there are clues what goes
into a pleasing arrangement.
We'll be looking at images some that are successful and those less
so to see if we can see what has actually has gone on to make the pictures what they are.
The commonly understood 'rules' of composition such as the rule of thirds and vanishing point
will be taught along with several others less known but which are valuable tools for the
photographer. Putting these into practice will undoubtedly help you create more eye-catching
images and increase your confidence in how to arrange the 'players' in the composition.
Significantly on this event we'll will study the principles of TASS, Tone, Arrangement, Scale
and Sharpness which if implemented fully will improve your photo skills dramatically.
It might be all you need to start to take truly remarkable images.
